What Are Credits?

Credits are GeopoliticsSim’s pay-as-you-go currency. Each simulation step (one quarterly projection) consumes credits. This lets you pay only for what you use, without monthly subscription commitments.

How Credits Are Consumed

Each time you advance a simulation by one quarter, credits are deducted from your balance. The cost per step depends on:

  • Simulation depth: Standard (48 countries) costs less than Premium (195 countries)
  • Scenario complexity: More assumptions may use slightly more credits per step

A typical 4-quarter scenario at Standard depth costs approximately 4-8 credits.

Free Tier

Anonymous users (no account required) get 3 free simulation steps. This is enough to try a simple scenario and evaluate the platform. After the free steps are used, you can create an account and purchase credits to continue.

Purchasing Credits

  1. Create a free account or log in.
  2. Navigate to the Credits page.
  3. Select your preferred credit pack.
  4. Complete payment via Stripe (cards and digital wallets accepted).
  5. Credits are added to your balance immediately.

Refund Policy

All credit purchases are final. Each simulation step triggers AI computation (Claude API calls) that cannot be undone. We encourage using the free tier to evaluate the product before purchasing.
