Terms of Service

By using GeopoliticsSim (“the Service”), you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

GeopoliticsSim is an AI-powered geopolitical simulation tool for research and entertainment purposes. It allows users to set assumptions about geopolitical scenarios and receive AI-generated quarterly projections. The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

2. Research and Entertainment Only

GeopoliticsSim is for research and entertainment purposes only. Simulation outputs are AI-generated explorations, not professional forecasts, predictions, or advice.

You agree NOT to:

  • Rely on simulation outputs for financial, investment, or trading decisions
  • Use outputs as the basis for military or defense planning
  • Present simulation outputs as factual predictions to third parties without disclaimer
  • Use the Service for any purpose where incorrect projections could cause harm

3. Accounts

You may create an account to save simulation history and purchase credits. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person.

4. Credits and Payments

  • Credits are purchased via Stripe in pre-defined packs ($5, $16, $35, $60).
  • Credits do not expire.
  • All credit purchases are final. No refunds. Each simulation step triggers AI computation (API calls) that cannot be reversed.
  • We reserve the right to adjust credit pack pricing and credit costs per simulation step with reasonable notice.

5. Free Tier

Anonymous users receive 3 free simulation steps. This free allocation is per-device and may be limited to prevent abuse. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to generate content that promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activity
  • Attempt to extract or reverse-engineer the simulation prompts or data
  • Use automated tools to consume simulation steps at scale without permission
  • Resell simulation outputs as a competing service
  • Abuse the free tier through multiple accounts or device manipulation

7. Intellectual Property

  • Your scenarios: You own your simulation inputs (assumptions) and may use outputs for any lawful purpose consistent with these terms.
  • Our platform: The GeopoliticsSim platform, data, design, and code remain our intellectual property.
  • Data sources: Underlying data is sourced from public institutions (World Bank, SIPRI, etc.) under their respective terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GeopoliticsSim and its operators shall not be liable for any damages arising from:

  • Reliance on simulation outputs for decision-making
  • Service interruptions or data loss
  • Inaccurate projections or data errors
  • Any use of the Service inconsistent with these terms

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to:

  • Perform maintenance with or without notice
  • Modify or discontinue features
  • Suspend accounts that violate these terms

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms. Upon termination, unused credits are forfeited. You may delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in Swedish courts.
