What We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect:

• Password (hashed, never stored in plaintext)

Payment Information

We use Stripe to process credit pack purchases. We do not store your payment card details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data in accordance with PCI DSS compliance standards. We receive only a transaction confirmation and purchase amount from Stripe.

Simulation Data

When you run simulations, we store:

• Your scenario assumptions (inputs)
• Simulation results (outputs)
• Timestamps and credit usage

This data is associated with your account so you can access your simulation history.

Anonymous Users

Anonymous users (no account) can run 3 free simulation steps. We do not collect personal information from anonymous users beyond standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamp).

How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

• Provide the simulation service
• Track your credit balance
• Display your simulation history
• Send account-related communications (password resets, etc.)
• Monitor service health and debug technical issues

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not train AI models on your simulation data. Your scenarios and results are yours.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
• We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use your scenarios for any purpose other than providing the service to you.

Analytics

We may use basic analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which features are popular, error rates). We do not use analytics to track individual user behavior for advertising purposes. Specific analytics tools, if implemented, will be disclosed here.

Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Simulation history is retained while your account is active.
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
• Server logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and debugging purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Export your simulation history
• Object to any processing you believe is unlawful

Third-Party Services

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — Simulation engine (your prompts are processed per Anthropic’s API terms)

Children

GeopoliticsSim is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
