Simon Lehmann

Simon Lehmann is the founder and lead developer of GeopoliticsSim. With a background in full-stack development and a lifelong fascination with geopolitics, he built the platform to bridge the gap between passive analysis consumption and interactive exploration.

Simon handles the core architecture — the .NET 8 backend, React frontend, AI integration with Claude, and the data pipeline that keeps the simulation grounded in real-world sources. He believes geopolitical literacy should be accessible and interactive, not locked behind expensive tools or academic paywalls.

Before GeopoliticsSim, Simon worked as a software engineer building data-intensive web applications. He brings that engineering rigor to a domain where most tools prioritize complexity over usability.
